NCF employs two cooks who provide the children, staff and visitors with a nutritious cooked meal each day. The food is typically ‘poshu and beans’, a staple diet in Uganda for good health. When possible additional vegetables and occasionally meat are added to this.
Food is also reserved for the older students who are orphaned or whose families cannot provide food for them.
When funds allow, there is also a simple breakfast provided on Saturdays when the whole Foundation community comes together.
